King Prawns on Brown

Here is a hot light snack or as a half portion a fantastic starter. The ideal way of starting a meal or having a light bite.

Ingredients:

8 pealed king prawns

25g butter

20g diced onion

pinch of dried chilli

1/4 sliced clove of garlic

1 shot of Brandy

2 table spoons chopped tinned tomatoes

double cream

fresh chopped chives

salt & Pepper

Instructions:

Melt the butter in a hot pan,

Add onion, garlic & chilli and gently fry.

flambé the brandy in the pan.

simmer in the chopped tomatoes.

add the double cream and reduce by half.

introduce the prawns and cook in the liqueur

season and served on lightly buttered brown bread or roll,

with some fresh lettuce & salads
